Have you ever wanted to know what data was in your table six months ago? Has data ever been deleted from your table that you now need to retrieve? Maybe you want to know who made a change to a row in your table? Combining the power of Temporal Tables and generated columns allows you to keep track of the history of your SQL tables as well as track who made the changes to your table. Once enabled, you can use simple SQL queries to ask questions about your historical data as well a query who made changes to your data at a specific point in time or over a range of time. This session will explain Db2 for i Temporal Tables and generated columns as well as give many examples that you can use in your applications.
